Baseline Survey & Assessment

A baseline study is an analysis of the present situation to identify starting benchmarks for a program or project. Through these studies, our team looks at what information must be considered and analysed to establish a baseline or starting point so that future progress can be assessed and comparisons can be made.

• Providing quantitative indicators of any social impact thematic for a particular geography.
• Before and After analysis.
• With or with activity- (useful in RCTs) With experimental control, these studies compare change in the activity location to change in the location where the activity did not happen.

A baseline study is essential for any large-scale social impact project in order to create accurate change indicators. These studies give insights on the current levels of development, based on which, the projects Theory of Change/ Log Frame matrices can be created. It is an accurate way to assist in the comparison process for any monitoring and evaluation process of longitudinal social projects.

Needs Assessment

Community Needs Assessment identifies the strengths and resources available in the community to meet the needs of children, youth, and families. The evaluation focuses on the community’s capacities, including those of its members, organizations, and agencies. It offers a framework for creating communities that support and nurture families and children, as well as for developing and identifying services and solutions.

During our study, the team not only interacts with the community members but also interviews specific target groups to understand their needs in more detail. We generally conduct the assessment to paint a comprehensive picture of the community across seven key thematic areas - Livelihood, Education, Healthcare, Nutrition, Environment, Social Security and Financial Inclusion.

Impact Assessment

An Impact Evaluation study is a systematic study to examine the short- and long-term changes occurred in a specific project location in a particular time frame. It involves mapping of project activities, output, outcome and both intended and unintended impact of the project over time.

• To evaluate project interventions through stakeholder interaction and participation.
• To measure the difference made by project in lives of people, groups, organisations, or communities.
• To understand the relevance of a particular project.
• To study the areas of improvement and learnings gathered from the grassroot level interaction
