keynote Address by G S Naveen Kumar, Special Secretary, Health, Medical Family Welfare Department

CSRBOX has been hosting the annual India CSR Summit for the past 7 years. The Summit has been the largest CSR and social impact event in the South Asia region with participation of 1800 organisations and 2400+ delegates every year.

G S Naveen Kumar is serving as Special secretary of Health, overseeing complete digitization of all operations in government health facilities. Additionally, clinical documentation and health information portability for 5.46 Cr citizens of AP is under implementation. He has vast experience in managing complex IT projects and unites an array of stakeholders. – from local leaders to state and national government representatives and NGOs – to deliver on innovative new programs.

During his keynote address, Shri Naveen shared his learnings, thoughts and experiences around the following points:

  • How CSR should focus more on Soft Infrastructure like human capital, conducting training, etc.
  • CSR should be more open to the idea of providing fellowships and building capacities
  • More CSR funds can be diverted for institutional building - Signing more MOUs with the Government.
