Dr Anupama serves as the Mission Director at Biocon Foundation and comes with over 20 years of experience in conceptualizing, strategizing and leading programs across diverse industries and domains. In her last corporate assignment, she headed CSR at Narayana Hrudayalaya Limited. Prior to that, she held administrative and research-oriented roles in institutions including Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) & P.D. Hinduja Hospital. Her experience as a physician, administrator and researcher has helped shape her perspective towards CSR, combining a systems-based approach, with a focus on the scalability and sustainability of interventions. She is now leading Biocon Foundation into its next phase of evolution, wherein the team is working to weave together research, technology, partnerships, and transformational community engagement to build capabilities, sustainability and social capital.
