Mehul is an experienced professional and has been a part of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Ltd. of the Tata Group since past 13 years and more than 16 years of total work experience with other Multi-nationals. Currently he is heading TCS-Maitree, an HR Initiative within Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. His responsibilities include to lead, direct and facilitate all initiatives related to Associate Engagement, Sports Management and Corporate Sustainability (Volunteering).

 

Initiating the conversation, Mr. Kothare says the company’s main focus area under the flagship initiatives remains on Health, Education and Environment. TCS aims at creating an impact in communities where it works.

 

Commenting on ‘slow card sustainability for intervene’, Mr Kothare suggests that when a corporate works with any community, it is very important that relationship is on sustainable basis as one time impact may help in short run but over the period of time sustainable interventions from corporate is very important for communities to grow and do something on their own.

 

Stating the importance of India CSR summit, Mr. Kothare says it’s great to see so many corporate, NGO, partners coming together under one roof and would suggest everyone to attend this event. It’s a wonderful platform that brings everyone together and make a change.
