About Ms. Jayanti Shukla- CEO, United Way Mumbai (UWM)

Jayanti serves as the CEO of United Way Mumbai (UWM) which is a part of the 130+years old global United Way movement engaged in nearly 1800 communities, spanning 41 countries across the world. She took charge of United Way Mumbai (UWM) in 2008. Prior to this she was with the New India Assurance Co. Ltd, a multinational insurance company, as their Regional Manager at the Delhi Regional Office and then with IL&FS Investsmart Insurance Brokers Ltd. as Vice President for corporate and insurance partnerships. Jayanti has been Director for group companies of Standard Chartered Bank, namely Standard Chartered Securities (India) Ltd. and Standard Chartered Investment and Loans (India) Ltd and served on their boards. She is on the CII Task Force for India@75 and was a member of the CSR Committee of the Indian Merchants Chamber. Jayanti is the founder trustee of the Celebrate Bandra Trust, which organises the enormously popular community event, the Celebrate Bandra Festival in Mumbai.
