Mr. Manoj Balachandran is the Head of CSR at IBM India & South Asia. A technocrat with 22 years of work experience in the areas of Program Management, Data Center Operations, Helpdesk Management, Practice expansions, Compliance, and Legal Support, Business Process Design, and Technical and Functional Support in a multi-cultural and multi-locational environment. He is proficient in end-to-end program planning and implementation from scope management, to activity sequencing, effort, and cost estimation, budgeting, and quality management in adherence to guidelines and norms. He’s an Agile leader who leads innovation & automation when it comes to his CSR activities. In his previous role, he spearheaded one of IBM’s largest CSR programs called STEM for girls wherein he reached out to over 200,000 girls to encourage them to pursue STEM careers. Under his leadership, IBM India is transforming the digital landscape through its various programs.
