Kamdhenu Gau Dhaam Trust is a non-profit organization set up under the grace and guidance of Maitreya Dadashreeji - a Social reformer, Global Humanitarian, and Transformation Pioneer. The organization is volunteer-driven and is a loving home for old, sick, injured, and stray cattle, especially cows and buffaloes which have been abandoned.
Vision: To promote and propagate love, care, and protection for cattle.
Mission: To build shelters across the country, providing food, care & love for the old, injured, and abandoned cows /cattle. To create awareness regarding the protection of the cows. To campaign for cruelty against cows.
Kamdhenu Gau Dhaam Amritsar is a Loving home for old, sick, and injured stray cows. The Municipal Corporation, Amritsar handed over its Gaushaala to Kamdhenu Gau Dhaam Trust on 1st February 2022 for operations and maintenance.The Gaushala is located at Naraingarh, Chheharta, Amritsar. It is only 500 meters away from India Gate and near the War Memorial Museum. Spanning 7000 square yards, our cow shelter is nurturing home to more than 304 abandoned cows. It is a loving home for old cows which have been abandoned by dairy farm owners once they cannot produce milk or reproduce and have been picked up from the streets of the city. Kamdhenu Gau Dhaam is a purely social initiative for the care and protection of abandoned, sick, injured, non-milking, and old cows.
Our Founder - Maitreya Dadashreeji, a Transformation Pioneer, Social Reformer and Global Humanitarian from India, Maitreya Dadashreeji is the Founder of Kamdhenu Gau Dhaam. He has guided many individuals, humanists, youth, and atheists, to walk the path of Love and Selfless Service for establishing His vision of One World, One Family.
Expenses:
Funding: This Gaushala is being managed with the only intention of taking care of and protecting abandoned sick and non-milking cows. Hence, we do not have any revenue source from the cow products. Funding for the operations of the Gaushala would be achieved by the following sources:
Project Progress Reporting: We would be providing quarterly project reports which will include project progress reports, fund utilization & impact assessment.
Impact Analysis of Q4, 2021-2022: Before taking over the reins of the Gaushala, there were 200 cows and within 2 months the number had gone up to 305 cows. This highlights our efforts of rescuing 105 cows.
