Project Synopsis

Sportz Village Foundation's theory of change focuses on empowering disadvantaged youth (children, adolescents, girls) by improving their health, educational outcomes, and social-emotional competence through sport. Our programs are integrated within the core education process of the schools or community centers (urban, semi-urban and rural communities) across India. SVF Sports Education module is designed to engage children using a scalable, multi-site/ community engagement model with a focus on health and education.

  1. Implement a year-long Sports Program for children.
  2. To engage children (from upper-primary/ secondary years) in the identified schools/communities in a sports education (baseline*) program – and build their health, fitness, and social-emotional skills to ensure holistic development through sports/play.
