Project Description
The Akshaya Patra Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation headquartered in Bengaluru, India. The Foundation strives to fight issues like hunger and malnutrition in India, by implementing the Mid-Day Meal Scheme in the government schools and government-aided schools. Akshaya Patra Mid-day Meals Kitchen with complete infrastructure and latest kitchen equipment was set up two years ago in Jigani. Today, the kitchen is serving upto 25,000 hot and nutritious meals per working day to needy children studying in Government schools.
