The company contributed money  for renovation of Murugappa Polytechnic College Building. In Ambattur in  Chennai, it donated money to Sri Ramaswami Mudaliar Higher Secondary School for funding the operation of the School. The company funded the operations of Mobile Science Lab in Sivagangai District of Tamil Nadu.To promote access to education and road safety awareness, the company contributed to United Way.It helped the economically weaker students of IIT Madras by giving them scholarships. In Chennai it gave funds to Gnanadarshan Seva Foundation for building of hostel for visually challenged women and imparting training and holding vocational classes. For the welfare of Tsunami affected students it donated money to Vidyarambham Trust. Madras Dyslexia Association got financial support from the Company for development of software for conducting research for the benefit of dyslexic children and adults.In Nagpur & Kolkata and their surrounding areas, it contributed to Save Life Foundation, New Delhi for road safety education and awareness campaigns. In Gumla District of Jharkhand the company contributed money to Vikas Bharati for construction of Hostel Building.
