Project Description
Corporations contributed towards the efforts of rebuilding homes in Kerala that were severely damaged due to the devastating floods in August 2018. HDFC has supported the construction of 75 disaster-resilient houses for families belonging to the lower socio-economic groups, in the worst affected villages of the Paravoor region in Ernakulam District and Kuttanad region of Alleppey District. The project is being implemented through two local partners in consultation with HDFC, local communities, technical consultants and the Panchayat (village local governance) administration.
