The story of a young girl from Rajasthan on breaking the gender stereotype and becoming a trained ITI graduate has nearly broken the internet with 80 million views

A few months back Samsung released a story under the campaign #SapneHueBade feeturing the story of a young girl, Seema Nagar who hails froma small village in Rajasthan. The story of her defying the gender streotypes and becoming an ITI graduate has touched everyone's heart. The 210 second video featuring her journey from birth to dreaming big has almost broken the internet with more than 80 million views on Youtube in last five months.

The ITI Jaipur (revamped as Samsung Technical School) is one of the 20 technical schools adopted/run/maintained by Samsung under its CSR initiatives. 10 schools are in joint collaboration between Samsung India and Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME). 10 other schools are at ITIs in partnership with the State Governments of Delhi, Bihar, Kerala, Rajasthan and Bengal. Samsung appoints its authorised trainers to conduct courses at these Technical Schools to provide specialized training. It also provides all the tools, modern test equipment and other consumable material required for training and skill development of the students. The students are provided with the opportunity to learn on the latest mobile phones, audio visual and home appliance products. The training covers areas such as repair, troubleshooting and installation. Post training, the students receive a month long, ‘on-the-job training’ at Samsung Service Centers.
