A team comprising Mitsubishi Corporation India Private Limited Chairman and Managing Director Eisuke Shiozaki, MSSRF Executive Director V. Selvam interacted with farmers and fisher folk in Nagayalanka mandal on Tuesday.

Mr. Selvam said the resource centre would train the farmers in various agricultural methods and document the issues of the farmers to address them with the support of the scientists.

Real-time information

The experts at the MSSRF will directly respond to the queries of the farmers at the centre” added Mr. Selvam.

Machilipatam Member of Parliament K. Narayana promised all the necessary support from the State government for developing the centre. The MSSRF has been engaged in restoration of mangrove cover in Krishna district over the years and adopted a few villages to ensure them livelihood option in Nagayalanka mandal.
