eAge offers a comprehensive soft skills development program focusing on :

The purpose of this program is to supplement the technical skills that the students possess with soft skills essential for their career enhancement.

Under this skill development initiative through CSR, eAge offers programs ranging from 3 to 12 months focused on enhanced career potential for the youth.

eAge has collaborated with credible NGOs, colleges and institutes and corporates that help ensure that training is being provided to the right students. 

The classes shall be conducted on our proprietary software (Zilleon) which enables a real time interaction between students and teachers. The Delivery of such training can be done using:

Learn on any device model: It is the most convenient way to learn for students. Supplemented with Zilleon, students can attend classes on their Android/IOS phones, tablets, PCs or laptops in a small batch size of 5 students.

  • Students log in from their respective locations at the time allotted for that particular batch
  • The Faculty logs in form his/her location
  • Zilleon virtual classroom setup is used for interactive learning sessions
  • The number of students in a batch is restricted to 5 for effective impact and quality of training
  • This virtual class platform enables seamless interaction  between student and teacher

Hybrid Delivery Model: This model is used in case the foundation or the CSR arm of our corporate partners has centres where students can be taught.

  • Students assemble in a classroom/conference room
  • The faculty logs in from his/her location
  • Zilleon virtual classroom setup is used for interactive learning sessions
  • The number of students in a group is limited to 15 for effective impact and quality of training

With Zilleon, there is more than just virtual classroom. With the aid of chat box, video uploading, whiteboard, audio file sharing and presentation sharing, collaboration is easy and effective.

Zilleon can operate seamlessly on a low bandwidth under both platforms. A bandwidth of 1 mbps or 4G connection is sufficient for Zilleon to function. 

Assessment:

It is important that the training being provided, adds value to the student. Under this program, eAge follows a periodic assessment approach to measure progress. The students go through a pre, mid and post term assessment where they are graded as per CEFR (Common European Framework) –international standards for language learning .

Apart from this, a weekly attendance report is also shared with the students as well as the concerned CSR partner to ensure regular attendance of students.

Rin Career Ready Academy

Hindustan Unilever launched the “RIN Career Ready Academy Program “ with eAgetutor as their knowledge and training partner in August 2016.

This Program is a part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)/Brand Awareness agenda of HUL.

This Program focuses on the soft skills that are required to compliment the technical knowledge, a person possesses. The program essentially focuses on 3 simple but valuable skills :

  • Spoken English
  • Office dressing
  • Interview training  

RCRA is a well structured 10 module program which includes role plays, quiz, interview mocks and communication topics.

This program is available for all those who wish to improve their communication skills.

  • Students can attend these sessions even on a simple feature phone.
  • The training program is a combination of self paced and faculty led classes.
  • Faculty intervention can be opted for up to 6 sessions

IMPACT :

  • eAgetutor has reached out to more than 300,000 students under RCRA
  • Geographies covered: Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra

Every module has activities encouraging the student to communicate in English which is recorded. The teacher facilitates a discussion amongst a small group of 5 students and provides live feedback.

On the whole RCRA is a short term career enhancement program focused on making the youth of India more employable. 

Soft Skills Training Program –by Redington Foundation

Redington is an end to end supply chain solutions provider for IT products. We have had the privilege of working with the CSR arm of Redington , the Redington Foundation.

Under their CSR program, Redington has set up IT labs in 13 Engineering colleges in the remote areas of Tamil Nadu. eAge has partnered with the foundation as their knowledge and training partner.

 Reaching out to 1500 students, it is a youth oriented communication skills development program focused on their career enhancement. 

  • Students attend these sessions from their IT labs in batches
  • These are video classes on virtual class model
  • It enables seamless faculty student interaction
