Project Description
The pilot was supported by ICICI Foundation in the initial stage. It was implemented with Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation and in Dharavi. It is now a year long evidence generation evidence exercise with 10,000 households and 1.2 lakh population where 3000 ecobiotraps are deployed monhtly. WHO protocols and ICMR approved protocols are being followed for monitoring process and our aim is to get an international publication.
Special Features Of Project
In collaboration with the BMC the project is being tested in a residential, commercial, and a mixed pocket of Dharavi to get an overall idea about the products effectivity in different environments
