PAF was registered in India in the year 2014 and since then it has worked with organizations like Arghyam, UNICEF, SBI Life, Apollo Tyre and contributed significantly in the fields of Urban Water and Sanitation, School WASH, Renewable Energy and Disaster Risk Management. It aims to work in the field of Urban Resilience, Renewable Energy, Climate Change Issues and Regenerative Agriculture in coming years.

Practical action foundation (PAF) has worked with corporate partners like AB InBev, Apollo Tyre, SBI Life and has implemented all the projects successfully. PAF has worked in the states like Rajasthan, Karnataka, and Odisha thru its CSR partners. In a school WASH project supported by SBI Life, it has renovated the sanitation infrastructures like toilet, hand washing platform in a school of Bhubaneswar which is helping around 500 children of the school. With the support from Apollo Tyre, it has worked in two cities of Rajasthan and helped the community residing in Transport Nagar with solid waste management. With the support from AB InBev, PAF supported a panchayat for solar-based water purification systems, street lights, and solar-powered vehicles.

PAF put innovative ideas to transform the changes to make the world poverty-free and help in shaping a world that works better for everyone.
