D. N. POLYTECHNIC is an autonomous, non-profit, non-political and non-sectarian Organisation set up in 1975. It has been registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act: 1950 on 22nd January 1979 (Registration No. E -3412)

Vision

To enable youth, esp. women from marginalized sections of the society lead a socially and economically empowered life.

Mission

To alleviate poverty and social exclusion and empower every individual irrespective of social status or gender to have a future of their choosing; to identify and work with economically and socially deprived groups of society and provide them with an opportunity to enhance their income earning capability and help them live a life of equality, inclusion and dignity.

Since its inception the Organisation has been involved in various training, development and awareness programs across India. Organisation has been grooming young entrepreneurs, mainly from socially and economically backward class, in the field of industry. It also strives to seek and help potential entrepreneurs by increasing their interest in vocational training.

The Organisation believes that providing vocational training is a catalyst in solving the problem of unemployment. Hence, during the period 1975- 2006, approximately 25,000 youth have been trained in the various fields of Income Generating Activities and have gained employment successfully. D.N. Polytechnic has also rich experience in imparting need based vocational training. It has well equipped practical laboratories, modern tools & equipment and trained technical staff.
