Sambodh was registered as the Public Trust on 3rd May 2008. Sambodh pioneered its Integrated Slum Development Programme (ISDP), an approach that seeks to turn slums into vibrant neighborhoods. It caters to the multiple needs of the poor through one-stop centers, enabling access for slum residents to basic services. Sambodh has rendered its services to several slum residents, migrants, minorities, children, women, adults, youth, and vulnerable people.

Mission: To create community-based organizations among the unprivileged and marginalized people. To empower them, to enable and enrich them to restore human dignity. To create an atmosphere of Education and livelihood patterns for such unprivileged and marginalized communities. To respect the dignity of life of each person. To empower and enrich beneficiaries’ lives without any discrimination.

We have experience working in urban slums since 2002. We work on various thematic areas like education, health, Livelihood, and governance. We work with unprivileged women, children, and the community. We can create an impact on the community and get results from our project implementations. Our students are first-generation who were provided education by Sambodh and now pursuing college and are employed.
