About the organization

'The vision of hope'

Tresna Foundation is an NGO founded by Rangoli Bakshi and based at Ahmedabad. The vision to bring a difference in the lives of people with betterment in living, sanitation and water facilities, education of children from marginalized sections, empowering Women and  youth with skills at grassroot level and developmental activities formed the core of the organization. The team of like-minded individuals at Tresna Foundation united to be the change rather than waiting to witness the change.

The voluntary work of the NGO which began from November 2017 has touched lives and helped empower the youth and women. The social work and assistance rendered to better rural living and improve the socio-economic conditions prevalent has received appreciation. In a short duration the organization has ventured into many social welfare works and also organized camps for health checkup and blood donation. The construction of toilets for better hygiene and health has been a primary focus alongwith menstrual hygiene of the girl child and women.

Tresna Foundation is a selfless organization with the zeal to contribute towards achieving a sustainable development and working for the larger interests of the Nation. A corporate association with the foundation for CSR Project will be part of the developmental initiative envisioned for the Nation. The rural development and improving the basic living of the weaker sections with skill set and educational assistance will go a long way in reaching the objective. The Corporate will be a part of the welfare initiatives undertaken by the organization. The real change witnessed in lives of the people will definitely motivate more Corporate entities to join.

The organization has also organized camps to spread awareness about menstrual hygiene and has been distributing pads for the girl child. The habitats where education is deprived because of zero accessibility to the same are being empowered under the educational program. The children are duly assisted in furthering their education from recognized institutions. The computer skills being taught would also prove to be an asset for youngsters in the age of digital technology. The hope seems brighter with every child receiving education and better opportunities for the future and the Foundation intends to keep working towards the same.

Tresna Foundation also works to focus on the bettering of juveniles at observation homes, children homes and orphanages which are run by the Gujarat State Government. Tresna Foundation believes in making the young minds sharper and well-empowered for a progressive life. The dedication and sheer determination of the team has made it possible to reach out to the weaker sections of society.

The exemplary work has been recognized in the State and the Foundation was conferred with 'Glory of Gujarat Award-2018' by Shri.O.P.Kohli, the then Governor of Gujarat. There has been accolades received for Garden Evening Classes initiative at The TImes CSR Awards 2021 too. The recognition has been an inspiration to the team who wish to reach further in the vision envisaged for the Foundation. The Corporate associating with the Foundation will have a positive impact in the long term for their contribution towards progress of the Nation.

Why should a corporate partner with organization?

When it comes to corporate social responsibility (CSR), not all organizations are created equal. Some take a more hands-off approach, seemingly content to leave things to the good wills of their donors and partners.Others try hard to be seen as pioneers, constantly experimenting with new ways of doing things in order to set an example.
Tresna Foundation is firmly situated in the second camp – it’s ever-searching for better ways of working, and its work is driven by a real spirit for the upliftment of lives in rural regions/interiors. Recognizing that transparency is key to building trust and credibility, Tresna ensures that all aspects of its operations are open and accessible to scrutineers from various quarters. This helps the foundation obtain optimal results while preservingthe sanctity of its relationships with its key partners.
We understand that change requires collaboration between businesses and NGOs working in isolated areas, where traditional modes of operation are difficult or impossible to implement. By being open and cooperative, Tresna is helping to empower communities while also guaranteeing the responsible use of donated funds.
