Lotus Petal Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in November 2011 with the primary objective to create equal opportunities for underprivileged children living in urban and semi-urban areas. We create high impact interventions in education, healthcare and nutrition by using innovative methodologies, scientific rigor, use of data and analytics for the child and also for his/her community.

Mission : To provide exemplary education, nutritious meals, healthcare facilities and skill development to the children and adults of the urban poor in India. To provide an ecosystem for people all across the world to contribute towards the cause of education with their skills, time and money.

Goal : To ensure quality education and nutrition for all children for holistic development and make them career ready by the time they passed grade 12.

Data collection and measurement are used to constantly improvise the programs to ensure high impact and outcomes e in both education and nutrition. 
• Transparent and Open- with BSR Affiliates as auditors, we stand tall and apparent as an organization built on high integrity and distinctive transparency. 99.83% of our annual spend is done through digital transactions only.
• Low Admin Cost- Over 93% of the money donated goes directly to the beneficiary and related programs. With 6.77% admin cost, Lotus Petal promises one of the lowest overhead costs in the industry.
• Low Drop Out Rate- With a low student dropout rate of approx. 7%, almost 93% of students completed the academic session of 2021-2022.

Our programs have directly impacted 6000 children/people so far and have positively impacted their lives. Alumni of programs run by Lotus Petal are now placed in formal jobs in both domestic and multinational companies. Some students are in higher professional education like medicine, marketing etc. and some are pursuing their career as managers, teachers etc. The outreach programs have touched the lives of over 500,000 people.

BSR Affiliates (KPMG) is our statutory auditor, our administrative costs are 6.77% and we are certified Great Places to Work™.

The organization’s key strength has been delivering transformational outcomes for the beneficiary based on processes with scientific rigor, systems, organizational culture at low cost. This has also been leveraged as a catalyst for change in various government schools in Gurugram which have experienced notable positive changes.

During the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown Lotus Petal has transformed into an online platform providing both education and skill development. (800+ smart devices distributed) featured in Doordarshan (DD News) and provided Community Feeding (4,90,155+ meals) and supported its beneficiaries to get back into their livelihood through the job portal for informal workers Bluekhoj.com.
