About the organization
The Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University (JVWU), Jaipur has been established and incorporated under the Act 17 of 2008 passed by Rajasthan State Legislature and notified by the Government of Rajasthan through its official Gazette Notification No. F.2 (23) Vidhi /2/2008 dated April 21, 2008. The Institution is established in rural settings with an aim to provide a high standard women education in unconventional fields and fill the gap by offering all the programs under one umbrella for female candidates.
The Institution is offering almost all general, professional, medical, and technical and skills programs under single roof exclusively for girls. Institution is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) Through ACT NO. 17 OF 2008 under sectio2(f) & (12 b) of the UGC Act, 1956 and accredited with 12 B status too; first Private Women’s University in India. University also has been accredited by National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) with CGPA of 2.63on Seven Point Scale at B+ grade. The Institution is also Participating Institution for Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan (UBA) Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. All the programs offered by the Institution are duly recognized by various respective Statutory Councils

The Institution also aspires to provide the Distance Education and Skill Development Education in flexible and carrier oriented mode in academia as well as an industry. The institution provides a transformational experience where the highest integrity, professional commitment and ethics are inbuilt in the training mechanism itself, so that ambassadors of tomorrow having an effective personality and ability to address the social, economical and technological Challenges in innovative manner for the global world.
Mission:
The mission of Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University is to provide "Education for Community Development” leading to Women Empowerment". To support the University mission, start ups been registered under Startup-India i.e. Mahila Samuh Gram Udyog and Nari Shiiksha for rural development and increase employment opportunities for women .
Resolution of the University
The resolution of the Institution is to award the degree to the students who have passed University Mission Courses (UMC) i.e. Women Rights & Laws, Self Defense, Help Aid, Yoga & Meditation, Gender Sensitization and My Behavior & Ethics and University Compulsory Courses (UCC) in the form of University "Nation Building & Community Development Program (NBCD) Certificate" along with required Academic Credits.

In regards to achieve the mission, Institution is running significant movement which is “Community Development Activities (CDA)”, where various activities are running under CDA within adopted villages such as Mera Gaon Meri Pehchan, Education mentorship, Agriculture Mentorship, Health Mentorship, Dr. Garg Immunity & Nutrition Mission, Rog Mukt Mera Gaon etc. University is working to conserve the traditional medicinal plants through its well developed Herbal Garden. In which more than 200 medicinal plants are successfully conserved and maintained. University is also providing training to farmers, young youth, budding entrepreneurs on Cultivation, Post Harvest Management & Entrepreneurship Aspects of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants along with creating the awareness and popularization of medicinal plants cultivation.
Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University has designed many unique activities for the fulfillment of Institution’s Mission “Education for Community Development” and the objectives of Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan (UBA), MHRD, GOI in 5 adopted villages (Jharna, Devla, Keshrisinghpura, Kapidyawas and Kotjewar). The curriculum of all the disciplines integrates and correlates with CDA to design the activities modules in a year calendar and implement accordingly. The curriculum is revised based on the feedback from corporate to fulfill the mission of Institution and Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan. The corporate will explore the new strategies for developing solution for social problem. Partnership with corporate will have access to new products, reach a new market and block a competitor along with increase the customer loyalty.
