DERBI Foundation is a non-profit healthcare organization based in Bangalore supported by DST, MEITY, DPIIT, and GoI. DERBI Foundation is a five-year-old organization strongly focused on providing skills to innovators by training them to develop new technologies that solve community problems in healthcare. DERBI Foundation has designed and validated three successful, scalable programs, i.e. PACE, GALLOP, and EMERGE, which catered to early to mid to late innovations. DERBI Foundation has garnered highly credible renowned executives as board members. Members include government, corporates, investments, founders, and eminent healthcare experts. DERBI Foundation contributes towards better nation-building by bringing technologies to solve unsolved needs. DERBI Foundation has supported more than 80+ healthcare innovations in the last five years and is associated with large corporates, hospitals, and medical doctors, to support us in the journey.
Since 2021, DERBI Foundation is also a proud India Hub for Social Innovation in Health Initiatives (SIHI), supported by Tropical Disease Research, UNDP, World Bank, UNICEF, and WHO. SIHI hubs have a presence in 12 countries, and this partnership has opened a new horizon for DERBI Foundation to expand its scope to the global network. Through the SIHI network, DERBI is facilitating technology solutions for healthcare to get validation and market access to global customers.DERBI Foundation visualizes that healthcare delivery should reach the last mile of our nation with affordable solutions. This can be achieved only by supporting the innovators by upskilling them by leveraging technology, providing funds for tech development, deployment, and validation, guiding them to the right market, and partnering with governments, like-minded organizations, and funders.
