We are an NGO doing medical research in areas required for improving the health of society through community and scientific participation. We have completed projects in doctor and community-based projects in training them in providing healthcare to the underprivileged.We are doing research projects on basic science, stem cells, new drugs for Covid 19, New intervention studies for rare diseases

OUR VISION: The TOC Foundation’s vision is to advance medical research, improve human health and change people’s lives.  The health and wellbeing of millions of people depend upon continual medical advances. And this challenge needs immense support, innovation, and persistence. We understand we need to be bold and ambitious – to fund projects that are not just going to be useful now, but which may become useful later. Our vision is to support these advances for decades to come – the biggest impacts come from a long-term commitment to research. We support research across the entire spectrum of medical sciences, in universities and hospitals, in our own units, centers, and institutes in Kerala, and in our units in India.

• A technique that will change the way we harvest stem cells making it possible for every level of hospital to harvest these cells without any ethical issues
• This will increase the use and make it possible to treat many diseases with this novel technique
• The bone regeneration process may improve effectively and rapidly when stem cells are used.
• stem cells are able to secrete bioactive molecules and regulate the behavior of other cells in different host tissues.
• Mesenchymal stem cells are used for cell-based therapy due to self-renewal, multipotent, and adaptability properties. 
• MSCs regenerate damaged tissue, autocrine/paracrine function and can deliver therapeutic molecules/genes in fracture treatment.
• The new technique of stem cell harvesting will make it easier for doctors to harvest these cells for bone healing. The regeneration shows promising results but requires more studies to prove its effectiveness.

We are a group of medical professionals who are interested in doing charitable research for the betterment of healthcare in India.Team of professionals under us providing the infrastructure and manpower for doing community-based research projects, we make sure the funds from the corporate partner is used only for the purpose of medical research which will improve our health delivery and the community-based health care will improve from treatment based to preventive measures for future health problems that will help the community and the mankind as a whole.

The projects submitted will be followed up and weekly reports will be submitted to the corporates in the form of reports on how their funding has been used for the working of the projects. The office is well equipped for managing and developing new and innovative research projects needed for better health care. The team already in place is knowledgeable about the needs of the corporates and through constant communication develops a good rapport with the corporates.
