About the organization
Founded in 2010, Child Help Foundation (CHF) is a child-centric national non-profit organization committed to the fulfillment of Child Rights as enshrined in the Indian constitution and UNCRC (United Nation Convention on the Rights of the Child) our Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) – Child Help Foundation India – is championing the cause of Health, with a greater focus on medical emergency support for Children, Quality Education, Access to clean water and Sanitation and Zero hunger. Its mission is to save the lives of Children, eradicating hunger, detection, and treatment of malnutrition, and responding to emergency situations caused by natural disasters.
Today, Child Help Foundation is a major player in Child Rights. Our priority is to have effective actions in the fields and testify about the vulnerable populations. Our response is multi-sectoral based on solid expertise. We actively run and manage numerous grassroots level initiatives in 17 states and by 2020; we aim to become the most credible organization in the child development sector in India.
Child Help Foundation won multiple awards in 2017-18: The ET NOW – Rise with India award for the best NGO in the Healthcare and Girl Child Education sector and CMO ASIA NGO Excellence award for our commitment to emergency health care for disadvantaged children and education for girls. In India, we haves in nine locations: Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kochi, Bhubaneshwar and Dimapur.

Special features of the organization
- Medical Emergency Support to Children with Cancer, heart diseases, kidney failures and other non-communicable diseases in the best of hospitals with the best of the medical team treating them.
- Education: We ensure poor and marginalised children have access to primary and higher education, providing them with learning opportunities they might not otherwise have.
- Access to Clean Water and Sanitation: We have been at the forefront to facilitate the construction of toilets, separate for boys and girls and the promotion of menstrual hygiene management for adolescent girls in schools.
- Gender Equality: We provide equal opportunities to both boys and girls creating a balance of power between genders
- Zero Hunger: When disaster strikes, children are always the most vulnerable. That’s why the Child Help Foundation has been on the ground protecting India’s children in every major disaster
