Planet Water India Foundation is a non-profit organization, registered under Section 80G of the Indian Companies Act. Their projects are focused on schools, children, and rural communities across India. As of now they have their presence in seven states of India.

Their mission is to transform the health and well-being of children in India’s most impoverished communities through providing access to safe drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene education.

Planet Water India Foundation is focused on bringing clean water to the most impoverished communities through the installation of community-based water filtration systems and implementation of hygiene education programs mentioned below:

• Safe Drinking Water – Their AquaTower water filtration system removes viruses, bacteria, and other contaminants and provides clean, safe drinking water for up to 1,800 people.
• Hand Washing Station – Six faucets and three liquid soap dispensers, along with hygiene education messaging at the point of water access on the AquaTower.
• Surface Disinfection – Their portable AquaSan surface disinfection, schools the capability to sanitize latrines, cafeterias, and classrooms to WHO standards.
• Hygiene Education – Planet Water’s hygiene education program teaches and reinforces healthy hygiene practices including how and when to wash your hands with soap and how to reduce the spreading of germs.
