About the organization
Manav Vikas Sanstha (MVS) is an ISO 9001-2015 (QMS) certified Society/Non Profit Organization. MVS’s main fortes are skill development & water conservation sectors. MVS understands the urgent need of implementing Water Conservation projects in India. Hence, it is actively involved in the development of Watersheds for rural communities and rainwater harvesting systems for rural households. We are conducting trainings in sectors like Apparel, Textiles, Handloom, Electronics, Telecom, IT & ITES, Domestic Workers, Healthcare, Logistics, Life Sciences, Agriculture and Handicrafts etc. We are involved in both, skilling & upskiling. MVS is an Approved Training Partner of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
The areas in which, we are working are as follows:
1. Employability, vocational education & Livelihood enhancement project.
2. Water Conservation/Watershed/Agriculture Extension Services.
3. Early childhood education/ pre-primary education.
4. Health & Nutrition.
5. Sanitation
6. Handloom & Handicrafts Cluster Development.
7. Ecological Development.
MVS has successfully implemented CSR projects of skill development of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Container Corporation of India (CONCOR), Indian Potash Limited (IPL) and Haryana State Industrial & Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC). Manav Vikas Sanstha has recently started working with BPCL (Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited) for CSR funded project in skill development.
Our CEO, Dr SK Sharma has been conferred with “National Best CEO Award -2019” in NGO/CSR sector during 4th National NGO & CSR Summit’ 2019 held at Hyderabad. Also, as an acknowledgement of our efforts in implementation of skilling projects, MVS has been awarded with “Best NGO-Skill Development" and “SKOCH Award for Top Performance in Skill Development Projects in the Country".
MVS has been mandated for Cluster Development of Handloom & Handicrafts for artisans belonging to SC categories across the country, which is funded by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India under DC (Handlooms) & DC (Handicrafts) schemes. Clusters development includes establishment of Common Facility Centres and Training & Design Centres for skill development and backward & forward integration. In addition to these, we are affiliated with several State Skill Development Missions as Training Partner such as Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Karnataka& Bihar etc. MVS has conducted the highest number of RPL trainings across all sectors in the country during PMKVY1.0.

Manav Vikas Sanstha is basically into Skill Development, Water Conservation, Health & Sanitation, Swachh Bharat Mission, Handloom & Handicraft Cluster Development. MVS identifies a particular cluster/camp/manufacturing units. MVS conducts baseline survey & skill gap assessment. MVS conducts trainings to bridge the skill gaps. MVS in association with the concerned SSC (Sector Skill Council) or Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) gets the workers assessed & certified. MVS has conducted the highest number of RPL trainings across all sectors in the country under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY).

We are working under many govt. schemes as well like PMKVY, NSKFDC, NSFDC, NULM, NMDFC etc. We follow a methodology for implementation of CSR project.
