Dakshas, a unique model of Universal Healthcare, was incorporated into the Trust 2016-2017. Till date, it has provided medical advice and treatment to over 40,000 patients and performed 170 surgeries.
Over the years the project has received support from individual philanthropists, alumni groups, foundations, CSR and incubators. The project has also been nurtured by very senior mentors with stellar track-records. The Project has been able to partner with the Government Health Centres, Organisations like Ramakrishna Math, National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad Runners, Charitable Hospitals like Mahavir, Vasavi, Durgabai Deshmukh.
Dakshas restructures healthcare end to end in a globally scalable and sustainable manner. Dakshas hopes to become an open platform to deliver Universal Healthcare across India and across medical specialties, so that no person is denied due to insufficient funds.
Vision:      To provide more value than we consume; sustainably.
Mission:   To harness redundancies to enable Universal Access to Safe Surgery.
Goal:        To become a widely adopted model for Universal healthcare, free of patient’s financial constraints.
Strategy: Quality Control, Cost Control and Collaboration through a Lean Demand-Supply Aggregator, tapping free healthcare capacity at variable cost for marginalized patients.
In the process of extending their Orthopedic support, Dakshas started pain clinic and physiotherapy Centre at Ramakrishna Math. Over the years it has spread to four Urban Community Health Centers and other Hospitals. These pain clinics provide treatment to around 150 patients every day.
Some of Dakshas other initiatives are:
1)     Efficient healthcare delivery to Old Age Homes
2)     Improve small hospital efficiency through process automation.
Dakshas intend to work in every sphere where they can provide Health care to the needy and wish that no one becomes poor due to healthcare bills in an equitable society.
