Gitanjali Foundation is a charitable organization and the organization has been running since 2014. The organization is running a CBSE affiliated Sr Secondary School namely Gitanjali Public School at Village Daikota PO Deriapur PS Sainthia Dist Birbhum PIN 731234 and five NCTE recognized Teachers Training Institution namely Gitanjali College of Physical Education, Gitanjali College of Education For Women, Natural College of Education, Swami Vivekananda Universal College of Education all in the district of Birbhum in west Bengal which is a backward district in India.The colleges offers B.P.Ed, M.P. Ed, B.Ed, D.EL.Ed and 4 yrs Integrated B.A./B.Ed or B.Sc B.Ed courses.

 VISION: Gitanjali Foundation visualizes an Eco-friendly world free from hunger, poverty, social injustices, gender inequality and all discrimination of caste, creed or religion. In this world all human beings irrespective of caste, creed, religion or gender will have a dignified life with fellow feelings to each other.

 MISSION: Our mission is to facilitate a process of development that will create an enabling atmosphere for the educational enlightenment, lasting improvement of health and economic empowerment of the poorer and marginalized segment of society regardless of caste or religion.

• We provide quality-based and value-based education to the boys and girl students belonging to tribal, dalits and minority communities in the remote rural areas.
• We sensitize the rural under-privileged women and young girls on their rights, gender justice, different laws protecting their rights and integrate them into the mainstream of society.
• We provide gainful employment to unemployed young boys and girls belonging to disadvantaged sections through skill-formation in different market-oriented trades.
• We aim to cause economic empowerment and self-reliance of the poor marginal farmers, farm women and sharecroppers through eco-friendly sustainable agriculture, micro-enterprise and establishment of a value-chain based marketing network.
• We organize the rural poor to achieve sustainable health through their behavioral changes towards maintaining health, hygiene and nutrition and give them support for both preventive and curative health for both communicable and non- communicable diseases.
• We stand by the calamity victims through emergency relief programmes and cause their lasting improvement through economic rehabilitation programmes.
• We protect environmental and ecology through environmental awareness and action programmes.

Gitanjali Foundation is at present working at 93 backward and remote villages in 22 blocks in Birbhum, Bardhaman and Murshidabad districts in West Bengal.The said three districts are in the backward districts list in West Bengal.

TARGET GROUP: School drop-outs, Marginal farmers,share-croppers, agricultural laborers, migrant laborers, vendors, hawkers, domestic- helps, socially-excluded women, rickshaw- pullers, women agricultural laborers, poor students and other poor and marginalized people with a prime focus on vulnerable women and children are the target groups of the organization.
