About the organization

Founded in 2007, Anudip is a professionally managed Section 8 not profit Indian Company, registered under Companies Act, 2013; single-mindedly concentrating on creating digital livelihoods at scale for youth from crisis-stricken communities through its 92+ skill and career development centres spread across 16 Indian states and 3 countries (India, United States, and Bangladesh). It is also a non-profit social enterprise registered as a 501(c) 3 company in the US, and a Section 8 company in India which has generated sustainable knowledge-economy livelihoods for youth from marginalized communities through IT and digital technologies.

Anudip works exclusively with youth from marginalized communities such as minorities, tribals, migrants, political refugees, impoverished families (below the poverty line), victims of trafficking and persons with disability who historically perform poorly in the human development index, depending mostly on traditional occupations with limited career options, poor education quality, and economic instability. These youngsters are generally dropouts from schools/colleges between the age of 18-30 years and have no or limited skills to compete with the urban workforce for new economy jobs. Their programs have been designed to assist such youth step out of the generational poverty trap often riddled with financial debts, and shield them from social evils like trafficking, insurgency, or early marriages. Besides developing employability skills for the marginalized youth through its digital livelihoods program, Anudip provides job placement services in IT-enabled jobs in e-commerce, retail, project services, microfinance, entrepreneurship and other sectors. Such economic and social empowerment helps beneficiaries access needs like healthcare services, siblings’ education and create financial savings for themselves and their family.Using transformative initiatives such as blended learning, technology-based student management system, use of LMS to track student progress, capacity building of staff and faculty, and optimization of investment strategy across Anudip’s national network of training centres enabled the steep growth, thereby, impacting 100,000+ youth from very underprivileged communities.

Anudip believes that digital skills can create enhanced livelihoods for marginalized communities.

Anudip’s mission is to generate sustainable knowledge-economy livelihoods for poor youth and women through market aligned skills training.

Anudip partners with renowned international and national institutions and community-based organizations to offer digital livelihood programs for youth from low-income family groups.
