Founded by MR. Kuldip Maity, MD, and CEO of VFS Capital Limited, Kaydee Foundation is a not-for-profit organization responsible for the implementation of CSR projects including the same for VFS Capital Limited.  

Established in 2016, Kaydee Foundation was founded by Mr. Kuldip Maity. Mr. Maity is the Managing Director and CEO of VFS Capital Limited, Eastern India's oldest Microfinance Organization. Kaydee Foundation was founded with a strong social purpose, as part of a larger strategy to eradicate hunger and poverty; promote preventive healthcare and make available safe drinking water; promote education, including special education, train women in vocational skills, promote gender equality, pursue programs that empower women and build projects for environmental protection. Kaydee Foundation fulfills the legal requirements of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs for undertaking corporate social responsibility projects. Kaydee Foundation is working towards the implementation of CSR projects in various thematic areas in accordance with Schedule VII of the Companies Act 2013.

Starting in 2016, Kaydee Foundation successfully implemented various social development projects. Our interventions are specifically women-centric. We are working in 15 states of India namely West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Tripura, Assam, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Chattishgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan.

Health Care:

• Comprehensive health-care solution by arranging different kinds of check-up camps - Kaydee Foundation specializes in organizing health check-up camps in remote areas with the help of a properly equipped medical team and volunteers for managing the camps. This involves letting people know about the camp through local processes, need assessment, arranging the camps, satisfaction surveys, etc. These camps can be arranged in the states of West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Tripura, Assam, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Chattishgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan.
• Health on Wheel- In the areas where it is not possible to arrange health camps in a closed building or ground, Kaydee foundation is well-equipped with Mobile Medical Unit which can travel to the places where there is a need to arrange a health-care camp and can organize camps such as general health check-up camps, diabetes test, BP check-up, ECG, Women-centric camps, etc. This facility for now is available only for West Bengal.

Empowerment

• Skill Development Training and Awareness Generation Program- Kaydee Foundation specializes in arranging Skill Development Training and awareness generation program in 13 states of India in terms of Financial Literacy, Employment generation, Skill Development Training, Health-care, etc in the vernacular languages.
• Entrepreneurship and employability skills training-  Kaydee Foundation is well-equipped in providing entrepreneurship and employability skills training to underprivileged communities in vernacular languages.

Plantation and Environment Protection- Kaydee Foundation, as part of the thematic area environmental protection is well equipped to arrange saplings and distribute those amongst rural women so that they can have their own kitchen garden.

Celebration of National and International Days- Kaydee Foundation can arrange thematic day celebrations such as World Health day, World hypertension day, International Women’s Day, Glaucoma Week, Earth Day, and World Environment Day, by arranging camps and awareness general programs.

Though started as the CSR wing for VFS Capital Limited, Kaydee Foundation now wanted to reach more people with the help of other organizations as well. Being a close collaborator for VFS Capital Limited, Kaydee Foundation can reach the remotest of the remote areas of 14 States of India. In Kaydee, we believe in the need for analysis before entering an activity. All our projects are tailor-made keeping in mind the local needs, we try to give emphasis on vernacular languages while arranging skill development training or awareness generation programs. All our health camps are specially arranged based on the need analysis.

Full Program Execution- At Kaydee Foundation we are responsible and accountable for the entire execution of the projects and to share the proper deliverables mutually beneficial for the local people as well as the corporate participating. We can arrange for volunteers to manage the programs and also can arrange for the corporate to include their team as volunteers if they wish.

Thematic Program Arrangement- We are capable of arranging programs based on themes, and specific days in 13 states of India such as check-up camps, health check-ups on wheels, awareness generation programs, plant and sapling distribution, relief material distribution, etc.

Execution following the Indian CSR norm- We are fully accountable for the execution of the project to ensure the expected takeaways follow the CSR norm of India. As the CSR wing of VFS Capital Limited, Eastern India’s oldest NBFC-MFI and one of India’s reputed MFI we fully adhere to the high standards of transparency, governance, and integrity. We have been working for society for the last 4 decades and are now ready to harmonize and support the programs of other corporates.
