Saltlake Institute of Engineering & Management Ltd incorporated on 17th Jan 2013, under the companies’ act 1956, It is a part of Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM Group), SLIEM LTD is NSDC Partner company. SLIEM provides placement linked skill development training to the youth across the country. SLIEM has presence in West Bengal, Assam, Jharkhand, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tripura and Meghalaya.

We have trained more than 13000 candidates under various Skill Development programs, pan India. We are providing necessary skill set to people through the help of various Central and State Governments programs, which aims on delivering training and employment to the members of under privileged societies, in rural & urban areas.

Apart from working on several Central and State run training projects, we have also partnered with companies to help and support them in their CSR mandates, specifically in creating livelihood for the underprivileged.

In the CSR front, we are associated with CREDAI, TATA Metalliks, Tata Steel and Indian Potash Limited, conducting skill training programmes in accordance with their CSR mandates.

For CREDAI, we have successfully conducted training programmes for the job roles of Mason, Plumber, and Electrician in the last two financial years. The training programmes were conducted in affiliation with Construction Sector Development Council of India (CSDCI).

To offer Skill Development Training Programs to:

• Unemployed youth to help them to get a Job
• Under employed youth to help them to get better job
• Existing company employees to offer them specialized Module Training, Assessment on Key Subject and Certification Process to enhance their skills and career prospects.

To set up a Vocational Skills eco-system which would provide employment linked Vocational Skills Training Programme to youth across the Country.
