Fit to Industry programme is a very successful model and it is a win-win opportunity for all stakeholders such as Unemployed youth, Factory Management and training providers. All find their result in a very short time. This course is specially designed as per the need of the garment manufacturing companies. There is an acute shortage of assembly line operators in Jaipur . We designed a 4 month duration course in which candidates are able to run high speed sewing machines and assemble various garment operations. Such skills make candidates employable in a very short time. This program has two sections.
In the first section which is of one and a half months, Participants are given skill training under an expert trainer. The focus of this training is to make the person “Industry ready” therefore the focus is on quality and consistency of stitching which is an important component of garment production. After completing the first section the second part starts in which they undergo “On the Job Training” in a garment export house where candidates work and practice on the actual assembly line. By the end of the training, Trained candidate can stitch the various garment parts together with accuracy.
