Women play an active role in the day-to-day survival of economically weaker communities. They bear the double burden of work in the house and out of the house. They do not have any other skills linked to increasing their earnings. The women empowerment project is a behavior-integrated, sustainable development of underprivileged women through vocational skilling programs. The objective is to empower them to become employable as well as to become entrepreneurs by forming Self Help Groups that ensure a sustainable and decent livelihood thereby improving their living standards.
Buimerc has undertaken several initiatives to achieve women's empowerment through vocational skill development. An increase in women’s participation in the workforce can give a further boost to our economy and nation-building. Buimerc is committed to facilitating this by equipping women with market-relevant skills and leading them to a path of self-sufficiency through wage/self-employment.
