Project Description

Connect Signal proposed gota patti training at villages under Bassi Panchayat. Since these villages are quite approachable from the main retail market of Jaipur. The pink city  is also very famous for its handmade gota patti  kurtas, Sarees and other hand made articles. Training on value addition techniques on fabric were conducted and OJT (On Job Training)  was arranged by Connect Signal to make candidates habitual about the production process. After completion of the training,  Connect Signal with the support of BOSCH India Foundation also distributed Char chops along with other hand work related tools to the artisans for their home so that women candidates may work  from their home. Women artisans are provided gota patti  job work which are issued  from the Retail/wholesale markets by field workers/agents or directly from the retailers. Presently  there are more than 80 candidates doing gota patti work  in 6 different villages.
