The aim of this initiative is to provide warm blankets to the homeless and street dwellers, offering them some comfort and protection during the cold nights.

Homeless and beggars, unfortunate individuals who find themselves sleeping on the streets, endure freezing conditions during the harsh winter nights. The lack of shelter and exposure to extreme temperatures can lead to various health issues for those living on the streets. In Hyderabad, according to The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), there are over 30,000 beggars who spend their nights in public places such as roadsides, bus stands, railway stations, footpaths, and other public areas throughout the city. To address this pressing issue, Sankalp, a humanitarian initiative by Sathguru Management Consultants in Hyderabad, organizes an annual blanket donation drive during the winter season.

In the year 2022, we were able to reach out to more than 5000 homeless individuals, offering them much-needed warmth and comfort. We are grateful for the participation of corporate employees who actively volunteer in our donation drive, contributing to the success of this initiative. Together, we strive to positively impact the lives of the homeless community during the winter months.
