At Sankalp, our primary objective is to promote education for young girls who often face challenges such as gender stereotypes, financial difficulties, and societal norms that may hinder their education. We strive to address these issues by providing scholarships of up to Rs. 10,000 to deserving female students, allowing them to complete their education up to class 10. These scholarships are specifically designed to support girls who may be at risk of dropping out of school due to socioeconomic constraints. We support a diverse range of children, including bright and deserving students, orphans, children of single parents, daily wage earners, and housemaids.
Sankalp partners with budget schools to identify underprivileged children and offer them financial assistance for school fees and counseling for both parents and children. We also provide stationery and books to these students, relieving them of the additional expense and allowing them to concentrate on their studies. So far, we have assisted 3000 children in Telangana.
The special feature of this project is, through this project, we thoroughly conduct due diligence and home visits on all the students to verify their social and economic status, upon satisfaction students will be onboarded for the scholarship program. Each student will be provided with a scholarship up to 10000/-, and students will be continuously monitored on parameters such as academic achievement and attendance. And we also provide parental counseling to create a learning environment for children. And all the supported children schools will be provided with life skills education and child safety. We also provide school kits to children whose parents live in poverty and often struggle to provide their children with the necessary school supplies.
