In upholding children’s Right to Education and Right to Food, we seek to contribute to the nation’s pursuit of two critical Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) -

• Goal 2: Zero Hunger, through the promise of a wholesome meal, and Goal 4: Quality Education, through the promise of quality schooling entirely free of cost. Indirectly, on the other hand, this endeavor contributes towards various other SDGs, including Goal 3: Good Health and Wellbeing for People and
• Goal 10: Reducing Inequalities.

The School is our humble attempt to create a large learning community with features of comprehensive rural development through education and skill development. Through this initiative, children will be trained, educated, and encouraged with the right skill sets, appropriate to enable each of them to flourish to their full capacity. We believe that every child has vast potential. It is just about guiding these children to ensure that they realize their full potential. In nurturing their natural inclinations, Great India Talent Schools will serve to educate, enable, and empower these children.

Special features of Organization ( GITF)

• Provides tasty, nutritious and hygienic Mid-day meal as an incentive to come to school with support from The Akshaya Patra Foundation.
• Alongside formal education, GITF strives to equip children with effective communication, problem solving, emotional intelligence and critical thinking skills.
• Extra- curricular activities such as sports, cultural programmes etc. are also encouraged to help children develop various skill sets.
• Exposure to developments in India and all over the world through films and talks by experts as well as periodic visits to farming communities, industries, institutions etc.
• Through Agri- farm children are introduced to nature and the need to care for the environment
• Community involvement is integral to the GITF initiative, and therefore their inputs and efforts are of immense value.

Volunteers will participate physically or virtually to execute some of the above mentioned  activities directed toward School Children by various methods, like Storytelling, Card making, Career guidance etc. They may spend a few days with the Children at School.
