The KC Mahindra Education Trust was founded in 1953, with a vision to transform the lives of people in India through education, by providing financial assistance and recognition to people across age groups and income strata.
Over the years, KCMET has undertaken a number of education initiatives, which has made a difference to the lives of deserving and needy students. The Trust has provided more than Rs 440 million in the form of grants, scholarships and loans. These funds are derived from the Trust's investment portfolio, the main donor of which is the Mahindra group of companies.
The Trust is registered as a Public Charitable Trust under the Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950.
