Q. What is CSRBOX ?

A. CSRBOX (www.csrbox.org) is India's largest CSR impact-intelligence and partnerships platform. It lists CSR portfolio of 1000+ companies falling under the ambit of mandatory CSR and investing altogether more than INR 10,000 Cr. on CSR projects each year. The platform takes the engagement with organizations a step higher, where not-for-profits and social enterprises are provided support and outreach services to help them connect with businesses that are looking for good CSR implementation partners.

Q. How is CSRBOX platform useful?

A. For Implementing Agencies: CSRBOX provides a host of services for catalysing CSR partnerships. CSRBOX helps implementing agencies (non-profits and social enterprises) by supporting strategic outreach to companies. On using the Organization Login, implementing agencies can access the CSRBOX Dashboard through which user can browse through and organize profiles of interesting companies, organizations, projects and products. CSRBOX platform also provides resources to help you understand CSR portfolio of companies, geographic and thematic mapping, CSR reports and data tools. You can also view impact stories, talks, CSR reports, News articles etc. to stay updates with the latest trends.

For Social Enterprises: CSRBOX hosts a section for innovative products. Social Enterprises that produce and distribute such innovative products to be used in CSR projects, can use the Organization login to access the dashboard. User can register their product to avail benefits of the platform.

Q. How CSRBOX acts a CSR search engine?

A. CSRBOX acts as a directory of CSR projects, company’s profiles, social businesses, CSR implementing agencies and service providers in India. It helps in understanding theme and geography-wise CSR projects distribution, spend and partnership models. It’s a CSR search engine for companies to find vetted CSR partners, field work agencies and various products suppliers.

Q. In which way CSRBOX offers its services to the members?

A. The symbiotic partnership service focuses on facilitating business-business (B2B) collaboration for larger CSR projects that ultimately helps in reducing the duplication of efforts by various agencies. Broadly, it's a combination of online and offline support services to businesses, CSR service providers and CSR implementation partners to actualize CSR partnerships.

A. Currently, we have around 1,200 companies’ profiles, 11,300+ CSR projects, 210+ verified organizations, 140+ CSR products and 90+ CSR proposals mapped on CSRBOX. CSRBOX has added a new section for Employee Volunteering Programmes proposed by some of the best organizations, that can help you improve employee engagement, culture and motivation in your company’s workforce. A. Impact stories are the CSR projects or activities done by companies or organizations or individuals which have led to a positive effect on the society benefitting many people. Thus, we curate such stories for companies and organizations on the basis of the work that they are doing through our journalist. Q. Does CSRBOX release research reports on CSR?

A. CSRBOX releases various reports defining the CSR landscape in India, entirely based on the actual CSR spending data of various companies. CSRBOX also provides knowledge resources in the form of Thematic and Geographic CSR Reports, CSR decision-making tools and Sectoral insights.

A. CSRBOX’s dashboard is a one-stop platform for corporate and implementing agencies for interaction and initiating a symbiotic relationship among respective stakeholders.

Q. What is NGOs Dashboard on CSRBOX?

A. NGO Dashboard is a gateway for building partnerships through pitch proposal section and reach directly to the corporates. It also helps in brand-building advisory and hand-holding. You can shortlist, review and rate organizations, products etc. You can share your profile on NGOBOX and other social media platforms for better promotion and hand-holding. Also, you can access to the information about different CSR Products, Projects and Companies etc.

Q. What is the advantage of using CSRBOX’s dashboard?

A. Access to the dashboard helps in short listing companies, innovative products and organizations as per thematic areas & geographic preferences etc. You can also develop collaborations accordingly after contacting the respective party by showing interest in product or proposal or organization.

Q. Why there are two dashboards for implementing organizations and corporates?

A. Two different dashboards are developed for better flow of information between the parties.

Q. How do I register my organization?

A. The organizations are listed/registered after preliminary screening and submission of on-boarding fee. An organization may not be listed, if CSRBOX finds that the organization does not have required expertise/capacity/portfolio to match the quality of the platform. Q. What are the eligibility criteria for an NGO?

A. For an NGO, it should fulfil the below eligibility conditions:

• At least 3 years of track record of on-field work
• At least 3 full time professional staff
• Last three years of annual audited report
• Pre-defined thematic focus and expertise
• 80 G and 12 A (must)
• FCRA (Optional)

Q. Which category should I select in the Organization type?

A. If you want to register your product, select Product Supplier. If you are representing an NGO or Implementing organization etc, select the relevant option.

Q. Can I register my organization after login?

A. Yes, after login, you can register your organization or product on CSRBOX Dashboard.

Q. Is there any subscription fee for registering the organization?

A. Yes. We have progressive plans: Silver, Gold and Platinum; to provide services of varying intensities. You can choose any plan as per your requirements.

Q. How long does it take to upload an organization profile?

A. In general, it takes up to 3 working days for an organization to go live on CSRBOX platform, after submission of form, payment of application fee and due diligence of relevant documents. For Vetted CSR Partners, it may take little longer as the compliance team needs to look at all documentation.

Q. How we promote products in the CSR space?

A. We reach out to the corporate via regular emailers, describing various products, their USP, etc. (click here to know more), and create a buzz about different products through social media posts, click here to know more

Q. What if our application for on-boarding in Organizations (CSR Partners) get rejected?

A. CSRBOX follows very stringent process for on-boarding of the organizations to maintain the credibility. If your application is rejected, you will get a due reason for that. You may reapply after 3 months with all relevant documentation.

Q. What is the idea behind Pitch Proposal section?

A. Pitch Proposal section is developed for the smooth and transparent flow of information between implementing organizations and corporate. It will help companies to have a closer view of the proposed project details and show interest if they like your proposal. Thus, it helps to connect with the corporate & other organizations.

Q. How can I pitch a Proposal?

A. You need to be registered member of CSRBOX to be able to Pitch a proposal. On the dashboard, you get access to this section.

Q. How many proposals can I pitch?

A. If you have subscribed to Platinum Plan, then you can pitch maximum 3 proposals. If you have subscribed for Gold Plan, then you can pitch one proposal and silver plan members cannot pitch any proposals.

Q. How long does it take for the approval of the registration/proposal from CSRBOX?

A. Generally, the registration/proposals are approved within 48-72 working hours after proper scrutiny of the details.

Q. How do I get to know who is interested in my proposal or organization?

A. In ‘My Leads’ section, you will have a comprehensive picture of all the interested users. You will have access to the complete profile of the user(s) who shows interest in your organization or product or proposal. This will help in better networking and collaboration opportunities.

Q. Can we have multiple accounts for same organization?

A. Yes, you can have multiple accounts for same organization. However, the cap on pitch proposals is on the organization name not on individual account. Also, whoever registers their organization or product from his/her account will be able to edit other details like address change, add project information etc. in future.
