Purpose Tech for Bharat 2026

CSRBOX brings you Purpose Tech for Bharat, an initiative designed to identify, recognise, and showcase transformative technology-enabled solutions that address critical social and environmental challenges across Health & Well-being, Geriatric Care & AssisTech, and Water & Agricultural Resilience. By celebrating organisations and startups using technology to solve real-world problems, PurposeTech for Bharat aims to inspire greater adoption, visibility, and scale for solutions creating measurable impact across India.

How It Works

Selection Process

A structured, two-stage evaluation ensuring credibility and impact.

Step 01

Announcement
(8th September)

Purpose Tech for Bharat is announced, along with the three categories, eligibility criteria, and application process.

Step 02

Application Submission
(Last date: 25th September)

Startups and organisations submit their solutions through the official online application form.

Step 03

Evaluation
(8th – 26th September)

All applications are reviewed by the One Purpose Team against eligibility and evaluation criteria — technical maturity, deployability, sector relevance, and real-world evidence.

Step 04

Grand Jury
(28th September – 1st October)

The top 5 shortlisted applicants from each category present their solutions before an expert Grand Jury for final evaluation.

Final Stage

Result Announcement
(3rd – 7th October)

Winners are announced and felicitated at the OPIF ceremony in Delhi, with select organisations invited to showcase their solutions at an exhibition stall.

The last date for submission is 25th September 2026.

Results will be announced between 3rd–7th October, with the ceremony held at the OPIF event in Delhi.

Open to all organisations and startups, including for-profit and nonprofit entities.
Only scalable, implementation-ready solutions beyond the prototype stage are eligible. Early-stage solutions are not eligible.
No geographical restrictions.
Solutions must integrate technology into Health & Well-being, Geriatric Care & Assistive Technology, or Water & Agricultural Resilience.
Each applicant may apply under only one category, even if their solution spans multiple sectors.
