
Development of Maternal and Child Health Through-Integrated Services and Information Channels – To improve infant and child (< 5 years) health among the poor and marginalised populations in 5 villages of Nalagarh block by improving nutrition and health care environment of both children’s and mothers’.
Reaching out to 1,50,000 people, the key objective of this project is to improve the infant and child health among the rural population by educating mothers, care givers and adolescent girls on various aspects of Maternal & Reproductive Child Health Issues (MCH & RCH). MAMTA Health Institute for Mother and Child has been working to make a considerable difference in people's lives in the Nalagarh block through interventions like group meetings, couple counselling, specialized workshops, health camps, community sessions and awareness events.
