ARPAN with support from Sonalika CSR is implementing an agricultural enhancement project in 32 villages of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan to enhance agricultural productivity and profitability for sustainable livelihood of the community. 

Key Features:

• Agriculture productivity enhancement through training of farmers on various aspects such as Soil & Water Conservation, Micro Irrigation Methods, Improved Agriculture and Horticulture Practices, Improved Animal Husbandry Practices, Feed Management, Breed Improvement, Operation & Maintenance of Farm Implements.
• Construction and renovation of water harvesting structures to increase water availability in the project villages
• Demonstration of improved variety of seeds and PoP (Package of Practices) to improve crop productivity.
• Convergence with Govt. schemes to maximize the benefits to marginalized and small farmers.

• Entitlement support to community for social security

• Community participation with focus on the poor section, in planning & implementation(Inclusion from all sections of community).
• Efficient water conservation with appropriate technologies & systems.
• Capacity building of farmers on new and improved agriculture practices from the experts
• Convergence for holistic development, particularly for food & water security, supply of drinking water, health & hygiene and environmental conservation. These works were facilitated by us related to rural development – Kisan clubs were formed and strengthened for income generation activities and natural resource management works.
