Prasanna Trust has supported deserving students with education scholarships, enabling the children to cherish their educational, professional & career dreams. In 2021-22 , We are planning to expand the reach to 100 Scholarships, Considering the Post COVID challenges being faced by the People.

The Need & Problem :

• Many a Students coming from BPL background, unable to pursue their ambition of education due to financial constraints. The COVID-19 Pandemic had affected lives of many very severely.
• Meritorious students dropout of school or college due to financial constraints.
• Parents don’t earn enough to pay for their child’s educational needs or they have too many children but don’t have enough resources for each one. Either way, it’s the child who is determined, willing to study and meritorious but is forced to drop out.
• Vetting & background check to deliver the Education scholarship has always been a Challenge for NGO’s, Hence majority of times, the Scholarship doesn’t reach the genuinely needy.

The Solution :

• Prasanna Trust having been Serving Since 1982 had been connected with genuinely needy beneficiaries.
• Trust volunteers coming from a background of spiritual seeking, refer their known beneficiaries like children of housemaids, plumbers, electrician, carpenters, gardeners, push cart vendors etc., of known circles. - children affected by COVID-19 challenges. – Girl children given preference.
• Prasanna Trust also does a due diligence to ensure the Genuinity.
• Scholarships to A Maximum of Rs. 30,000 Per Student is offered to the deserving students.
