MANT has been working towards economic uplift, leadership development, socio-educational empowerment and promoting self-reliance of 2000 tribal women engaged in sericulture activities in the state of Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh with support from Govt. of Nagaland and Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh respectively. To Conserve and commercialise the traditional art form of the rural community, to make the women population from backward societies self-dependent both economically and socially, MANT has established a Hand Woven Garments Production cum Training Units in Purulia and Bankura, both underdeveloped dots of West Bengal. It has been in business since 2015. The units are being managed by the tribal women.
