In a new corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, Coal India Limited (CIL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government of Himachal Pradesh for construction of a prefabricated building for a Government Primary School at Kumarsain, Shimla, HP. The MoU signing ceremony was organised via video conference, in the presence of Shri. S.N.Tiwary, Director - Marketing and P&IR, CIL.

CIL will  extend financial assistance of rupees one crore towards the construction of a prefabricated building built with Light Gauge Steel Frame (LGSF) technology for the Government Primary School at Kumarsain in Himachal Pradesh.

Shri. H.S. Mishra, GM - CSR, CIL signed the MoU on behalf of Coal India in Kolkata while Shri. Shubh Karan Singh, Director of Elementary Education signed on behalf of the Government of Himachal Pradesh  in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
