Collaborate 2 Conquer Covid -19

Unlocking the silos during lockdown !

The role of collaboration is critical as we navigate through these uncertain times. With an objective to minimize the impact of COVID-19 on the communities around us, Genpact Social Impact Fellows enabled a dialogue amongst its NGO partners. The session was pivoted around the themes of:

Business Continuity -
Preparing non-profits for the new normal
Employee Engagement - Engaged employees = Sustained vision
Society at large - For society - With society

The session was facilitated by Vijaya Balaji, CEO, Toolbox. While the lockdown is changing the way we live and work, Vijaya nudged the group to prepare for the post lockdown effects. As part of the session Vijaya moderated a discussion on:

  • Will we continue to champion the causes that we are championing now?
  • Will we operate and run programs in its entirety, or do we need to look into possible augmentation in our programs?

  • Following Vijaya, was a dialogue by KN Gopinath, Executive Director, Dhwani Foundation. Sharing his thoughts on the COVID-19 situation, he said that in today’s world of uncertainty, technology plays a crucial role. Development sector needs to strategize and focus on sustainability. They need to identify and innovate means to operate with limited funds and thereby less resources.
