Cube Roots Foundation and DA Toll Road provide financial assistance to underprivileged students

Cube Roots Foundation and DA Toll Road Pvt Ltd (an SPV of Cube Highways) organised a scholarship distribution program at the Lalita Grand, Mathura to provide financial assistance to underprivileged meritorious students of government schools of Mathura and Agra. As part of Cube Roots Foundation's community development initiative, Rs 10,000 was awarded to each of the 41 students to encourage them to continue their studies.

During the program, Shri Pulkit Khare, District Magistrate, Mathura; Shri Dharmendra Chauhan, CO Traffic, Mathura; Shri Shaurya Kumar, Traffic Inspector; Shri Janardan Sharma, Member of Parliament Representative; Shri Shibashish Sahoo, Sr Vice President, Social Safeguard, Cube Highways; Shri Vaibhav Sharma, SPV Head, DA Toll Road Pvt Ltd; Ms. Praggya Guptaa, Asst. Vice President-corporate Communications, Cube Highways felicitated the students with scholarships and Certificates of Appreciation.

 

Addressing the students present at the program, Shri Pulkit Khare, District Magistrate, Mathura said, "As a student, your first approach should be to follow your teachers' advice. Students need to develop confidence in their teachers and I believe that all the students here definitely obey their teachers as their guiding force."

He further added that in the era of the Internet and technology, knowledge is available worldwide. So he urged students to take advantage of these to enhance their knowledge to follow their aims.

Appreciating the Cube Roots Foundation's efforts, he says such initiatives can potentially lower school dropout rates.

During the program, Shri Shaurya Kumar, Traffic Inspector sensitised Teachers, parents, and students about road safety rules.

Youth cannot develop the skills necessary to survive and become responsible citizens without access to education. We aim to reach out to as many disadvantaged youngsters as possible through such initiatives and bring positive change in their lives through education.”
