EmpowerHer Launch: Empowering Women through Education and Skill Development

BharatCares and United Breweries Limited (UBL) announced the launch of EmpowerHer, a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The launch marks a significant milestone in empowering women through education, enhanced vocational training and skill development. Implemented by BharatCares, the project is aimed at upgrading the capabilities and infrastructure of Government Women's Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Ch. Sambhajinagar, Aurangabad, to address the critical need for quality technical education and skill development for women in the region.   As an esteemed guest at the launch, Ms. Geetu Gidwani Verma, Chairperson – CSR & ESG Committee, United Breweries Limited addressed the gathering and stated, “Project EmpowerHer reflects UBL's commitment to create lasting positive impact in our communities. Given a chance, a woman will use her skills with determination to change the lives of not just her family but many more in her environment. This project, through women's education and skill development, aims to empower them, thereby contributing to the larger goal of economic growth for the entire community."   The project will demonstrate a strong commitment to fostering gender equality and providing women with the tools and skills needed to thrive in today's competitive job market. By upgrading the ITI, the project will create a more conducive learning environment for the beneficiaries.
