1. UNDEF Invites Proposals For Inclusion Of The Voice Of Civil Society And Promoting Democracy
Organization- United Nations Democracy Fund
Grant Amount - $100,000- $300,000

Description-
UNDEF invites proposals for projects taking place in one country only (local) or occur in several specified states of a region or sub-region or intend to operate at the global level.
UNDEF will support two-year projects that empowers civil society, promotes human rights, and encourages the participation of all groups in democratic processes. The large majority of UNDEF funds go to local civil society organizations.
UNDEF prompts project proposals covering one or more of eight thematic areas:

3. Request For Proposal: Skill Development For Disadvantaged Youth, HSBC Skills For Life: 2019-Grants for empowering youth
Organization: Swades Foundation
Grant Amount: INR 25 lakhs to INR 75 lakh
Deadline: 21st January 2019
Description
The Swades Foundation in partnership with HSBC is inviting proposals from NGOs, for skills projects specifically emphasising on empowering youth from disadvantaged communities/ background through skill training.
HSBC Skills for Life, a five year INR 100 crore commitment by HSBC India will focus on employment linked skill development of disadvantaged youth, up skilling of teachers and educators, and women empowerment through financial education and livelihood enhancement.
Eligibility Criteria
NGOs that are registered in India as a Trust, Society or a Section 25/ Section 8 Company, having a valid FCRA registration are eligible to apply.

4. P4G Grant For Public-Private Partnerships That Are Advancing Innovative Strategies To Achieve The Sustainable Development Goals
Organization – P4G – Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030
Grant Amount – up to USD 100,000
Deadline – 15th February 2019
Description-
P4G, a new initiative with the ambition of becoming the world’s leading forum for developing a concrete public-private partnership at scale to deliver on the SDGs and the Paris Climate Agreement. They bring business, government, and civil society organizations together in innovative public-private partnerships to advance solutions to meet humanity’s greatest needs in the areas of- food and agriculture, water, energy, cities and circular economy.
Eligibility Criteria-
P4G will provide funding only to partnerships in the start-up and scale-up phases of development and growth.
P4G partnerships consist of both commercial and non-commercial partners.*

5. Call For Proposals For Innovative Strategies & Approaches To Improve Employment Opportunities For Disadvantaged & Vulnerable Group

Grant amount -EUR 250,000 - EUR 400,000

Description –
As a part of VET Toolbox project, British Council is launching a EU-funded call for proposals to promote inclusive, demand-driven VET & skills development. The specific objective of the call is to fund innovative and inclusive initiatives that improve employment opportunities in the formal and informal labour market for disadvantaged and vulnerable groups through vocational education and training.
Activities should be innovative, entail an upscaling potential, be cost-effective, sustainable and show local ownership.
