Spark Minda Foundation to organise a mega camp to empower people with disabilities
Spark Minda Foundation will organize a Mega Camp ‘Empowerment of People with Disabilities’. This 10-day camp is being organized by the Spark Minda Foundation as one of its CSR programs, Saksham- Empowerment of People with Disabilities. People with Disabilities will be provided with Artificial Limbs, Calipers, Crutches, Walkers, Walking Sticks, and Hearing Aids. PwD will additionally be supported by UDID Registration, Skilling and Employment Support, etc.
The mega camp will be held from the 1st of February 2023 to the 10th of February 2023. The venue for the camp is Minda Corporation Limited, D-6-11, Sector 59, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 20131 and it will run from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The camp's target audience is about 1,000 People with Disabilities from the Delhi NCR, different regions of Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Camp seeks to provide accessibility and empower them to lead their lives with dignity.
Some of Spark Minda Foundation’s partners are- IBDN (CII), ASSOCHAM, SCPwD, Vishwa Yuva Kendra, Youth 4 Jobs, NAB, Ambuja Cement Foundation, etc. This joint venture will endeavor to achieve the aim of ‘Empowerment of People with Disabilities’.
